The Digital Production verion is designed for television shows needing a short-term solution that includes service and support for the duration of production.

PilotWare Digital simplifies preparation for the editorial stage by streamlining workflows through detailed tracking of raw footage, media assets, logs and transcripts. PilotWare uses various flavors of Quicktime file formats with embedded timecode to store and playback media.

Logging fields and media vault settings are system wide, and are the same for all projects. Records are accessable to all users in the system, however, privilages can be limited to read-only on an individual basis.

Workflows
A key benefit of PilotWare is the system's adaptiblity to client workflows. Our objective is to plug the system into a client's established routines rather than make clients adapt to PilotWare. When circumstances dictate that a client accomodate a PilotWare standard, that standard has been established through years of experience and. The enterprise workflow can be configured to support multiple workflows concurrently. Common workflows include:

Ingest SD & HD tapes to Quicktime files for playback in PilotWare.
Share Quicktime files ingested with Final Cut Pro via Ethernet.
Ingest XDCam Proxies to the PilotWare Server.
